Sudhir Seyboth

Personal Introduction
It all began in 1991 when I led my first men's group. It was a most rewarding and humbling adventure, working with men from all over the world for so many years. Now, as an elder in the field with three decades of experience, I look back with deep gratitude at the men I have met along the way. They have taught me much - perhaps even more than I have guided them. I don't feel like a teacher. This work is not about imparting knowledge. I feel more like a friend moving together with passion and courage on a journey into the unknown.

The most profound turning point in my life came in the 1980s, when I was 25. At that time, I was a German engineer developing software for the automotive industry. My career was thriving, characterised by recognition and a huge salary. Nevertheless, I could not shake off a deep feeling of emptiness. The questions of life - What is my goal? Is there more to life than just money and success? – would not let me rest. Eventually I listened to this inner voice. I sold all my belongings at a flea market, left Munich and Germany behind forever and set off on a journey that would change my life.

My search for meaning and purpose first took me to the serene mountains of Kerala, India, where I studied at the Shivananda Yoga Ashram and became a certified yoga teacher. A year later, I met the Indian mystic Osho in Pune, an encounter that became a pivotal turning point in my life. In the vibrant energy of the Osho commune, I spent more than a decade diving deep into meditation, therapy training and personal growth work. It was in this multicultural melting pot where I led my very first retreat for men.

Over the past 30 years I have dedicated myself to this work, leading men's groups and retreats all over the world. From India to Germany, from Sweden to Ibiza, I have sat in circle with men of all ages and walks of life. Together we have explored profound questions about power, purpose, peace, sex, love, vulnerability and courage.
I trained extensively in holistic healing practices such as yoga, meditation, inner child therapy, bioenergetics, breath therapy, NLP and family constellations. These methods have taught me to understand not only the mind, but also heart and soul. In 1995, I was appointed Director of the Mystery School at the Osho Centre for Transformation in Pune.
But at the peak of my "spiritual career", my son was born in 1997. I left this spiritual paradise to figure out how to be a good father. I think I have succeeded pretty well, and I am very proud of my son. He embodies a new masculinity - a whole human being with a wonderful balance of masculine and feminine energies.

I then moved to Ibiza in 2008. In 2012 I got married and entered a relationship with a strong and beautiful woman. The challenges and the journey of growth continue. Now, at the age of 67, I am embarking on a new adventure: the integration of therapy, meditation and plant healing work.

It remains my passion to continue this work - creating space for stories of transformation and experiencing the incredible strength that comes when men become friends and brothers. Together we build communities based on trust and connection. This is not just my work - it is my calling. And I am humbled and grateful to walk this path.
